Do you love or hate freshly washed jeans?
tbh I kinda hate it when I freshly wash my jeans because when I put them on they are extra tight and I gotta loosen them up again through out the day!!! haha.

I agree, they're a bit too tight when they've been washed and the comfy texture is gone. I only wash them if I get a noticeable stain on them or something. Then you have to 'break them in' all over again

Could someone please tell me what happened (briefly) at the Battle of Midway as I am doing a project and I am finding it quite hard to shorten it down into a brief power point.

Just after midnight on 4 June, Admiral Nimitz, based on patrol plane reports, advised Task Forces 16 and 17 of the course and speed of the Japanese "main body," also noting their distance of 574 miles from Midway. The first attack on 4 June, however, took place when the four night-flying PBYs attacked the Japanese transports northwest of Midway with one PBY torpedoing fleet tanker Akebono Maru. Later that morning, at roughly 0630, Aichi D3A ("Val") carrier bombers and Nakajima B5N ("Kate") torpedo planes, supported by numerous fighters ("Zekes"), bombed Midway Island installations. Although defending U.S. Marine Corps Brewster F2A ("Buffalo") and Grumman F4F ("Wildcat") fighters suffered disastrous losses, losing 17 of 26 aloft, the Japanese only inflicted slight damage to the facilities on Midway. Motor Torpedo Boat PT-25 was also damaged by strafing in Midway lagoon.
Over the next two hours, Japanese "Zekes" on Combat Air Patrol (CAP) and antiaircraft fire from the Japanese fleet annihilated the repeated attacks by the American aircraft from Marine Corps Douglas SBD ("Dauntless") and Vought SB2U ("Vindicator") scout bombers from VMSB-241, Navy Grumman TBF ("Avenger") torpedo bombers from VT-8 detachment, and U. S. Army Air Force torpedo-carrying Martin B-26 ("Marauder") bombers sent out to attack the Japanese carriers. Army Air Force "Flying Fortresses" likewise bombed the Japanese carrier force without success, although without losses to themselves.
Between 0930 and 1030, Douglas TBD ("Devastator") torpedo bombers from VT 3, VT-6, and VT-8 on the three American carriers attacked the Japanese carriers. Although nearly wiped out by the defending Japanese fighters and antiaircraft fire, they drew off enemy fighters, leaving the skies open for dive bombers from Enterprise and Yorktown. VB-6 and VS-6 "Dauntlesses" from Enterprise bombed and fatally damaged carriers Kaga and Akagi, while VB-3 "Dauntlesses" from Yorktown bombed and wrecked carrier Soryu. American submarine Nautilus (SS-168) then fired torpedoes at the burning Kaga but her torpedoes did not explode.
At 1100, the one Japanese carrier that escaped destruction that morning, Hiryu, launched "Val" dive bombers that temporarily disabled Yorktown around noon. Three and a half hours later, Hiryu's "Kate" torpedo planes struck a second blow, forcing Yorktown's abandonment. In return, "Dauntlesses" from Enterprise mortally damaged Hiryu in a strike around 1700 that afternoon. The destruction of the Carrier Strike Force compelled Admiral Yamamoto to abandon his Midway invasion plans, and the Japanese Fleet began to retire westward.
During the battle, Japanese destroyers had picked up three U.S. naval aviators from the water. After interrogation, however, all three Americans were murdered. One TBD pilot, Lieutenant George Gay escaped detection by the Japanese ships and was later rescued by a PBY.
On 5 June, TF 16 under command of Rear Admiral Spruance pursued the Japanese fleet westward, while work continued to salvage the damaged Yorktown. Both Akagi and Hiryu, damaged the previous day, were scuttled by Japanese destroyers early on the 5th.
The last air attacks of the battle took place on 6 June when dive bombers from Enterprise and Hornet bombed and sank heavy cruiser Mikuma, and damaged destroyers Asashio and Arashio,as well as the cruiser Mogami. At Admiral Spruance's expressed orders, issued because of the destruction of three torpedo squadrons on 4 June, "Devastators" from VT-6 that accompanied the strike did not attack because of the threat to them from surface antiaircraft fire. After recovering these planes, TF 16 turned eastward and broke off contact with the enemy. COMINT intercepts over the following two days documented the withdrawal of Japanese forces toward Saipan and the Home Islands.
Meanwhile, on the 6th, Japanese submarine I-168 interrupted the U.S. salvage operations, torpedoing Yorktown and torpedoing and sinking destroyer USS Hammann (DD-412). Screening destroyers depth-charged I-168 but the Japanese submarine escaped destruction. What are the best, cheapest and most damage-free ways to straighten black hair?
My mom has been using a hot comb for years but that isn't an option anymore. Her hair is short (hangs around her neck when straightened) and very soft. It usually doesn't hold a curl or straighten for more than a day or so but that's all she only needs it for a few hours this time (possibly overnite as well)
What would be the way that she could do her hair herself without having to buy a lot of expensive products or hurting her hair.

Maybe she could try roller setting it. If her hair is natural, it probably won't make it bone straight but it WILL be a lot straighter. There are some good tutorials on how to roller set natural hair on youtube. Other than roller sets, there's really no other way to get it straight without damaging it. Maybe she can try wearing wigs for like 6 months so her real hair can get back health. Then, after it gets back healthy, maybe she can press it out once every two weeks. I forgot to add that she should start taking care of her hair with washing, conditioning, deep conditioning, moisturizing it, wearing satin bonnets to sleep, get her ends trimmed. After 6 months, her hair will not only be able to hold a curl but it will much healthier and longer. But, remember, make sure she only applies heat every two weeks and make sure to use a heat protectant. Also, you can go to sites like: curlynikki.com, longhaircareforum,.com, and blackhairmedia,com

What does it mean if a guy doesn't text back?
I've been seeing a guy since just before christmas, we get on really well and I've known him for a good number of years. He said he feels we have a lot in common and things are always so good when we're around eachother. I've met his parents and some of his friends, and I had a friend request on facebook from one of his friends. I asked him who it was and he said 'a good friend of mine, I was telling him about you the other day'
He's never been a big texter but on saturday he replied with a really short text with no kisses on and I've not heard from him since. I text him on Monday to ask if we could do something this week and again no reply at all. What's going on? Should I assume it's all over? I don't want to text him again because I'll look desperate. Things were so good and now he's just cut off contact.What does it mean if a guy doesn't text back?

I am planning to get a rental Chevy Malibu from Hertz and I was just wondering if anyone knows what trim they come in? I'm pretty sure the whole Hertz fleets' Malibu's are in one standardized trim but I just can't figure out what it is.
The reason I am asking is because I would like to estimate my fuel costs and for that, I would require the vehicle's MPG and since I am unsure if it's the 2.4 I4 or the 3.6 V6, it's hard for me to do estimates.
A quick search on Google notes that Hertz is selling used rentals and they are all of the I4 variant. However, on the Hertz website under it's vehicle guide, the details for the Malibu mentions that it's the V6 variant and it does 25MPG (highway), which is consistent with the rated MPG for the V6 Malibu on Chevy's website.
If there is anyone out there who would be kind enough to provide me with this little bit of information, I would be much grateful.

There are a lot of options that come into play considering fuel mileage such as tuning and maintenance of the vehicle to how your driving habits are.
