Me and my ex boyfriend just broke up about almost a week ago. It was a mutual break up and we didn't end things in a bad way. We had been together for almost 3 years. We decided not to have communication for a couple of months. The thing is, Valentines day is approaching and I am confused on giving him something or not. Maybe something small? I still want to let him know that I still do care about him. I don't want him to get the idea that I want to be back in the relationship though, but what i want is a good friendship. Nothing too strong. Maybe a small box of chocolate perhaps or just go out together in a FRIENDLY way. For example to a pub for a few drinks or just a typical outing that's not so romantic.
