What are the myths about cleaning carpets?

One of my friend told me not to clean and other said to clean I鈥檓 confused about that. Again now-a-days it is providing dust more than its own service.

So, I need a helpful, experimented and experienced suggestion. What are the myths about cleaning carpets?
Back long ago shampooing the carpet was a tedious and messy process. It often left the carpet fibers in less than desirable condition so it wasn't done as often as it should have been.

Now carpet cleaning (no longer called shampooing as the process is totally different) is much more gentle on the fibers and quick and efficient from beginning to end. You definitely should get the carpets cleaned once a year. There are 2 processes- wet and dry chemical. The professional will decide which is suited to your soil level and carpet condition. Dry chemical is used in most situations and is dry to the touch in ~4 hours. Wet is used in heavily soiled areas and will need overnight to dry but still is not messy wet. Again, carpet cleaning is affordable and GOOD. Go call Sears now!!!
