Is it okay to eat canned tuna every day?

I have recently taken a liking to those Clover Leaf cans of tuna. They have tons of different flavors and are easy to pack for lunch. I have been eating a can every day at lunch time. Each can is 85 grams.

I'm just a little concerned about the whole mercury content thing. What exactly does it do to you? And is it okay to continue eating a can a day? Thanks. :)Is it okay to eat canned tuna every day?
It would be no problem at all. The can of tuna tiday has only about 3.5 ounces of tuna after draining the water. You could eat two cans every day. The problem actually would be what are you eating with it? Mayo naise? etc like the butter we add to potatoes then blame the potato, the tuna is fine, when you compare the protein and potassium yoiu are getting, enjoy. The lead levels are not much compared to years ago or to all the other problems in the water /air.

In such small amounts,unless you're nursing or pregnant,it shouldn't be a problem.
No, it's not. Keep it down to 2 times a week.Is it okay to eat canned tuna every day?
differnet flavours? O_o lol well i don't think eating 'tuna' every day is bad however what are they putting in the tuna to make it differnet flavours is another question..

the Japanese eat fish more then anyone on the planet and while they do have the longest life spans on average of any other country they also have the highest rate of stomich cancer. due to the polution in the oceans.

tuna is good but what other chemicals are in there I don't think even the FDA knows. but it's pretty much in every food these days you can't win.

so 1 can a day should be fine. though might want to check on the chemicals they use to flavour them... mercury in fish and amonia in beef a dozen other chemicals in pork, chicken etc
to much of everything is bad especially to much fish to much omega 3 could lead to serious skin problems and even the risk of loosing your eye sight.
Maybe not every day as heavy metals such as mercury could become an issue, talk to ur doc.
