What day of the week is the biblical 4th commandment Sabbath?

Deuteronomy 5:12-15: "Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the LORD your God has commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work,

but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your ox, your donkey or any of your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns, so that your male and female servants may rest, as you do. Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the LORD your God brought you out of there with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm. Therefore the LORD your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day."

There are a lot of calendars and interpretations, is it:

A: Saturday

B: Sunday

C: Any day of the week

D: It does not matter, the 4th commandment does not count

Please give reasoning why each option is correct or incorrect. What day of the week is the biblical 4th commandment Sabbath?
Technically, Fri PM-Sat PM.
Yeah, how do we know what day to NOT work. I don't wanna be murdered!

"Six days may work be done; but on the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever does any work on the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death." ~ Exodus 31:15 KJV

BTW, Christians....don't tell me "Oh that's from the OT". This is one of YOUR ten commandments that you want plastered in city halls, court houses, etc. Why debate it? It's in YOUR bible. It's YOUR god's rules.

If you TRULY believe that the bible is the word of YOUR god, then you can NOT pick and choose. What day of the week is the biblical 4th commandment Sabbath?
I believe the passage you offered speaks to the Jews (as slaves in Egypt) The Jews acknowledge Saturday as the Sabbath, commencing on Friday evening at sundown. Christians observe Sunday as their Sabbath.
YHVH also told you not to call Him by names of heathen mighty ones,,, like 'lord' and 'god'. The day He set aside as special is from sundown Fri to sundown Sat. If you want His salvation (and that is the only Salvation there is --- YAHUSHUA) you will follow His directions. What day of the week is the biblical 4th commandment Sabbath?
This is what’s commonly known as a tempest in a tea pot.

In Romans 14:5 Paul wrote, One man considers one day more sacred than another; another man considers every day alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind.

And in Colossians 2:16 he said, Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day.

The Sabbath observance is the only Old Testament commandment that’s not repeated in the New. In fact Jesus went out of His way to violate the Sabbath Laws in public, even though as a Jew He was obligated the keep them. Yet God considered Him sinless.

In Hebrews 4 we’re told that the commandment to rest on the Sabbath was intended as a model of the believer’s life long sabbath rest, where we stop working for our salvation after we’ve accepted the Lord’s gift of pardon.

The Jews keep a Saturday Sabbath. The early Church began meeting on Sunday to commemorate the Lord’s resurrection. The verses above say it doesn’t matter which day you choose as long as you’re convinced it’s the right thing to do.
the answer is A- Saturday, The Bible clearly states that the Sabbath is the the seventh say of the week. It is not for Jews only, but for all mankind. Jesus himself kept the Sabbath as well as his apostles, nowhere in the bible says that He nor his disciples changed this. when he died on the cross, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary waited until after the Sabbath to go to the sepulchre. Even the apostle Paul,a convert, kept the Sabbath. I repeat- the Bible does not in any way support any other day but the seventh as the Sabbath(also the literal translation for Saturday is Sabbath in practically every language, try translating the word Sabbath to another language at Dictionary.com/translate. this is NOT a coincidence)

Sunday- first day of the week. Jesus never stated by mouth or trough his apostles or disciples that this was changed. also, the traditional day for Roman worship of their SUN GOD, HORUS(That's where we really got that from by the way. New christians Joined up with romans who still worshipped their pagan gods. also where many wrong church traditions came from)!

Any day of the week- the Bible clearly states the SEVENTH DAY! How can you look at God's word which says the Seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God and say any day is fine???!!!"

It does not matter, the fourth commandment does not count.- The Bible clearly warns, in both new and old testaments against not keeping the Sabbath. Jesus kept the Sabbath, his disciples kept the Sabbath and no where in the Bible does it say that the Sbbath was nullified or changed. Do not be fooled!

The 7th day is Friday Sunset to Saturday Sunset. Many people have the misconception that this was only for the Jews but today, Christians are spiritual Israel and remember that Jesus came to remove the partition between Gentiles and Jews so there is no Jewish law and Gentile law. While the handwriting of ordinances mentioned in Col 2:14-16 were nailed to the cross (Moses' law), the 10 commandments were not abolished. May the Lord bless you.. and Happy Sabbath!! :)
A. from sunset Friday til sunset Saturday.

the Sabbath is mentioned in the New Testament more than any of the other nine. This could be tied to the fact that God has apparently chosen the fourth commandment to be the great test issue in His law. In Exodus 16 He used the Seventh-day Sabbath to “prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or not” (Exodus 16:4).

Is there reason to believe that the Sabbath contains a testing quality that cannot be found in any of the other nine commandments? It is an interesting question to contemplate. Besides being worded in a totally different manner (“remember” instead of “thou shalt not”), the fourth commandment is the one which does not have a stigma attached to breaking it. One might abstain from stealing for fear of going to jail, and from adultery for fear of getting shot by an angry spouse. In fact, it is illegal to break some of the Ten Commandments, so they might be obeyed simply to avoid the negative consequences of disobedience. BUT CONSIDER THIS: IN OUR WORLD TODAY, THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT ACTUALLY CARRIES A STIGMA FOR KEEPING IT! In fact, the only reason one would choose to obey it is out of love for Christ and choosing His will above our own. Therefore, it would constitute a special test of genuine love for Christ.

Before you read the Scriptures, you should pray. A short but sincere prayer before you read is worth more than a long meandering prayer. The Bible is a divine book requiring divine guidance to understand it. The Lord says, “The word is Spirit and life” (John 6:63). God’s Spirit inspired the writing; God’s Spirit needs to inspire the reading. We’re also told that spiritual things are “spiritually discerned.” That might seem like common sense, but most people try to read the Bible with their own feelings as the interpreter. They want the Bible to tell them what they want to hear; they want it to say what they want it to say. That won’t work—imposing ourselves on what we read rather than allowing God’s Spirit to impose on us what we need to understand. “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14).

James 1:5 explains, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” We can expect God to give us wisdom while we’re reading, especially when we with an earnest heart ask for His help. If you want to understand a book, who better to ask than the author? Sometimes you might read a passage in a book and ask yourself, “What did the writer mean by that?” Unfortunately, you can’t call most authors to ask what they meant. But you can ask God. He can grant you perfect understanding because He wrote it.

Happy Sabbath!!! Call It a delight!!! (((Amen)))
There are two important factors here:

1. This is all in relation to the old covenant, which was a legal contract between the two parties, God and the Israelites.

2. The sabbath, being the last day of a 7 day week, would mean it was Saturday to those living in Israel. However, we live on a round earth, and not a flat one. For every 1000 miles you travel west, the sun sets an hour later, and for every hour east you travel, the sun sets an hour earlier. So traveling east, paying attention to sunsets, causes your seventh day to shift to Friday when you pass over the artificial International Dateline.

.
It started at the week of creation by creating six days and rested on the seventh day which is a Saturday.

Gen 1:31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day. Gen 2:1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

Gen 2:2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.

Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

So at creation the seventh day Sabbath was established and also was given to us in the Ten Commandments.

I have found a very good site that explains this really well. If you would like to learn more here is the link.
The first one is Biblical, all the rest are pagan reasoning.
