He broke up with me a little over a month ago because his feelings suddenly changed because of the way I acted on Christmas. (I went over his place one day, my day was already going horrible and I was in a bad mood so he did his best to cheer me up. he said a lot of sweet things to me and tried to get me to open my gift early. I was hesitant at first because he said that I may not like the gift and he a hard time picking the perfect gift for me. so I finally gave in and opened it and before I did that I told him that if I didn't like it I would tell him and he said that was fine he'll just get me something else. so i opened it and told him I didn't like it. that was the end of that we went to sleep and didn't cuddle or anything because I was still kinda sad about my day and I felt like he didn't really "know" me because of his choice in gifts) So a couple of weeks pass and he dumped me because he couldn't get over that night. He felt like it showed a huge sign of immaturity. The break up made me really sad at first, but now I understand it. I feel like he thought I was perfect and when that happened it showed him a different side of me. We are now on good terms since our last talk (last week), at first things were awkward and a little hard for me but now I'm doing okay. But now he feels awkward around me, I think it's because of our most recent talks. I've been really mature and accepted things for what it is and maybe he sees that? maybe he realizes that he does still like me?



He also kept my ipod for me last week and I'm pretty sure he looked through my pics and that also made him feel a certain way, because after he gave it back he looked at me the way he use to look at me. and he later texted me "hey, sorry if I came off as pretty awkward today. I think I'm still not sure how to act around you" I replied "it's okay, but why not? you can be yourself around me." then he said "idk, hopefully that awkward **** fades soon" then i replied "me too, i don't wanna make you feel uncomfortable :/" lastly he said "you're not doing anything intentionally, so don't worry about it ;)"
